After 5 years beholden to a tier-q carrier, Databank makes a change
Databank’s business model involves scanning, storing and cataloging terabytes of data for its clients in a timely manner. Therefore, Databank is dependent on having a reliable network and associated infrastructure that can be counted on to handle a voluminous amount of data. As a result of Databank’s unique needs, having confidence in their network and support behind it is not a luxury, but an absolute necessity. Unfortunately, Databank was unable to feel secure in their telecommunications service, thanks to years of ongoing issues including: unresolved billing disputes, constant turnover of account representatives, missed installation dates, squandered resources both human and capital, a lack of proactive monitoring of potential problem spots and trouble tickets being bounced between various service departments. The field was then narrowed to two finalists. Databank ultimately decided on a fully integrated SIP and MPLS solution with different providers for MPLS, SIP and hosted IP.
